S&D Spring and Wheel Alignment is seeking to hire a Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper / Administrative Assistant to join our team! This vital role combines accurate financial record-keeping with efficient administrative support, ensuring smooth daily operations. The ideal candidate will be well organized, and possess excellent communication skills, ready to handle a variety of clerical and bookkeeping tasks as well as manage phone call receptions.

Compensation:

$30 $35 per hour (based on experience)
Vacation Time (Paid)
Sick Time (Paid)

Job Description:

Manage accounts payable and receivable using QuickBooks and Auto Fluent software to ensure accurate financial records. [training provided for AutoFluent]
Perform data entry, invoicing, billing, and bank reconciliations with precision and attention to detail, as well as running weekly payroll.
Handle front desk duties, including managing multi-line phone systems, and providing basic customer service.
Maintain organized filing systems for both digital and paper documents, ensuring easy retrieval and confidentiality.
Support office management tasks such as calendar management, appointment scheduling, and coordinating meetings.
Assist with clerical duties like proofreading documents, preparing correspondence, and managing office supplies.
Keeping financial systems accurate and up to date

Requirements:

Strong bookkeeping / accounting experience & fluent in QuickBooks. (required)
Strong Phone Etiquette, Receptionist Duties, and Customer Service skills. (required)
Proficiency in Clerical Skills, including organizing files, data entry, and managing office supplies.
Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Solid computer skills, typing skills, MS Office and/or Google Drive software.
Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for interaction with clients and team members.
Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently.
Able to handle financial organization for a busy company.
