Senior Bookkeeper / Fractional Controller Service Business

In person position

We are a growing landscaping, construction, and service company based in New Jersey seeking a financial professional who can help us understand and improve the businessnot simply record transactions.

This is not a traditional bookkeeping position.

We are looking for someone who understands:

Job costing
Project profitability
Payroll allocation
Labor burden calculations
Cash flow forecasting
Accounts receivable management
Budgeting and financial planning
Service business KPIs

Responsibilities:

Maintain accurate books and reconciliations
Review payroll and labor costs
Build weekly and monthly financial reports
Track profitability by job, customer, and division
Create cash flow forecasts
Monitor accounts receivable and collections
Identify financial trends and operational opportunities
Work directly with ownership on business decisions
