Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is in need of a Senior Accounting Specialist that is responsible for supporting core financial operations, including maintaining accurate financial records, managing cash flow, and ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role requires strong proficiency in QuickBooks and the Microsoft Office Suite, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, able to manage multiple priorities effectively, and capable of working independently while accurately following verbal instructions.* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

  • 5+ years of experience in bookkeeping or a related accounting role
  • Advanced knowledge of QuickBooks
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, including data analysis and use of pivot tables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and standards (such as GAAP)
  • Experience with general ledger activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations
