WORK HOURS: Monday Friday 8 AM 5 PM , ability to work weekends and/or extended hours , as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Accounts Receivable Accountant is responsible for processing invoices, contract billings, and the Accounts Receivable receipts (cash, credit card, other).
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process Sales Billing .
- Deposit funds using a check scanner or going to the bank .
- Apply Deposits to Sales invoices .
- Monitor AR Aging and contact customers with overdue accounts .
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations .
- Contract Review for contract performance obligations .
- Assist with 1099/1042 preparation .
- Journal Entry Preparation .
- Prep Credit Card Entries .
- Filing .
- Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS :
- General understanding of Accounting Principles .
- Microsoft Great Plains , preferred .
- Strong interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Must be very detail-oriented, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and flexible.
EXPERIENCE AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelors degree in accounting or similar years of experience , preferred .
- 1-2 years of Accounts Receivable experience .
- Intermediate user of Excel.
- Must pass the RVP program and maintain a Green Light status .
- Must adhere to the Code of Conduct of the USBC Registered Volunteer Program is a condition of employment and continued employment .
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to move/lift up to 20 lbs.
