A Financial Analyst in the accounting industry conducts financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. They analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support. Their responsibilities also include improving financial status by analyzing results, monitoring variances, identifying trends and recommending actions to management. They also guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures, provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
