Important skills for an Accounts Receivable specialist include strong numerical proficiency, detail-oriented nature, excellent organizational abilities, and strong communication skills. Certifications such as Certified Accounts Receivable Specialist (CARS) or Certified Credit and Collection Professional (CCCP) can enhance credibility and career prospects.
