Position Summary
Deloitte Services LP includes internal support areas such as Finance and Administration, Talent, Information Technology, Marketing and Communications, and Facilities Management. This position is part of the Partner Financial Services team within the Finance organization. Responsibilities include one or more of the following areas: managing partner capital and distributions, performing ad hoc analyses, supporting management, providing superior service to clients.
Work you'll do
A person in this role should possess analytical skills, be detail-oriented, work effectively in team environment, demonstrate problem-solving skills, and suggest process improvements.
Responsibilities include one or more of the following:
- Manage, analyze, and take ownership of specific processes within Partner Financial Services such paid-in capital, capital loans, and/or other financial processes.
- Responsible for preparing and issuing distributions to partners and/or withholdings from partners. Includes examining and reconciling supporting documents for approval, such as data reports and statements issued to partners.
- Responsible for processing and generating election forms for partners related to investment of voluntary capital and withdrawal of such capital.
- Provide support to achieve continuous improvement of all key processes, with the goal of producing timely and reliable financial information. Conduct financial system testing on a quarterly basis for all key processes and financial reports.
- Assist team members in areas where technical accounting issues arise.
- Maintain and regularly update documentation of procedures including reconciliation steps for key processes.
- Responsible for timely generation of periodic journal entries and general ledger account reconciliation including maintaining and demonstrating an understanding of the account balance and providing explanation for variances.
- Interact with other groups within the Finance organization to provide and receive financial information and determine process improvements.
- Communicate effectively to all levels of clients and management and must maintain and protect confidential financial information.
- Provide support necessary for the annual internal control and audit, and handle auditor inquiries and information requests as appropriate.
- Perform other job related duties as required or assigned.
The successful candidate will possess:
- Must have a strong understanding of finance and accounting.
- Must be a team player, have strong analytical skills and work effectively in a team environment.
- Must have ability to comply with sensitive and confidential data.
- Must be organized with excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant finance experience.
- Strong computer skills are required, specifically Microsoft Office products, with SAP experience preferred
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
- Ability to travel 0-19%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $57,299 to $105,300.
