Accounts Receivable Coordinator (Entry Level) Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Coordinator to support daily accounting operations. This individual will play a key role in managing invoicing, processing payments, and maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions. Schedule & Work Environment Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM First 1-2 weeks: fully onsite for training Hybrid schedule thereafter: 3 days onsite / 2 days remote (flexible on in-office days) Additional remote flexibility may be available upon conversion to full-time Responsibilities Manage accounts receivable functions, including invoicing and payment processing Accurately record customer payments, including checks and electronic transactions Monitor and follow up on outstanding balances to ensure timely collections Communicate with customers to resolve payment discrepancies and account issues Maintain accurate financial records and documentation within relevant systems Support the accounting team with administrative and project-based tasks Provide professional customer service while handling inbound calls and inquiries Assist with backup duties across the accounting team as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Prior accounting or accounts receivable experience preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is a plus Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) Strong communication and customer service skills Preferred Experience Experience with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Key Traits for Success Self-starter with a strong work ethic Highly motivated and dependable Investigative and detail-oriented mindset Team-oriented with strong collaboration skills Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Phoenix, AZ 85023. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.57/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
