Exceptional Hospitality Starts with You
Picture yourself brightening someones day. When you join our Hotels team, thats exactly what youll do every time you come to work! As an Accounting Manager, youre not just overseeing the hotels financial operations youre spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
* Oversee general ledger and financial reporting: Reconcile General Ledger accounts, review discrepancies, and guide team members in resolving issues to ensure accuracy and compliance
* Provide reporting oversight: Ensure accurate processing of financial reports, including month-end closing, monthly forecasts, and variance reports
* Control budgets and inventory: Track and manage inventories and operational expenses to maintain cost control
* Supervise payroll processing: Oversee timekeeping systems, weekly payroll submissions, gratuity calculations, and monthly payroll audits
* Handle financial transactions: Ensure proper processing of received checks, calculate daily deposit transmittals, and maintain financial records
* Inspire and develop the team: Supervise, coach, and mentor team members; conduct performance evaluations, provide professional development opportunities, and recognize achievements to build, retain, and engage a high-performing team
