This is an entry-level accounting position responsible for basic financial record-keeping tasks, including data entry, account reconciliation, generating reports, and assisting with basic financial analysis, typically under the supervision of a more senior accountant, often requiring strong attention to detail and proficiency in accounting software and accounting principles. JOB DUTIES: Entering vendor bills into our accounting software with accurate due dates. Maintaining accounts receivable and accounts payable records. Maintaining new vendor creation and updating existing vendor records. Preparing journal entries. Generating basic financial reports like trial balances and schedules. Assisting with budget preparation. Data entry into accounting software. Filing and maintaining accounting documents. Collection of past due accounts. QUALIFICATIONS: Associate or bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. 0-2 years of experience in accounting or finance positions. Proficient in MS Office and accounting software. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Works well under pressure. General understanding of accounting regulations and procedure, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills.
