Burns is currently seeking a Billing Coordinator to join our Accounting & Finance team at our headquarters in Philadelphia, PA.
Summary:
The Billing Coordinator is responsible for project billing, management of subconsultant invoices and AR follow-up.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit monthly project invoices, ensuring that invoicing format meets contract requirements
- Follow up with client contact regarding outstanding accounts receivable and report to both the PM and Accounting Manager when payment can be expected
- Review and enter subconsultant invoices in Deltek; Monitor subconsultant budgets and approved rates to ensure they comply with the contract; DBE reporting
- Perform other billing analysis as requested
Education & Experience
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and/or 2-3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have prior experience with professional services billing.
- Basic working knowledge of Excel is required.
- Prior experience from an A/E firm is preferred.
