Accounts Payable Processor Job Description The Accounts Payable Processor is responsible for entering invoices, ensuring they are correctly three-way matched, and processing payments. The role may also involve making ACH payments, wire transfers, stop payment requests, and issuing checks. This high-volume position requires processing between 150-200 invoices daily, with a minimum of 150 invoices. Responsibilities Enter and process invoices with accuracy and efficiency. Ensure invoices are correctly three-way matched. Assist in making ACH payments, wire transfers, stop payment requests, and issuing checks. Process a high volume of invoices daily, ranging from 150 to 200. Maintain accurate records and documentation for all invoice processing activities. Essential Skills Accounts payable experience in a shared service environment or large company. Full-cycle accounts payable experience including invoice processing, three-way match, and invoice payments. Experience processing a minimum of 150 invoices per day. Proficiency in using PeopleSoft and/or Workday ERP systems, or large ERP experience. Strong knowledge of purchase orders and three-way matching. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2-3 years of experience in high-volume accounts payable processing. Minimum requirement of a Diploma or GED; an Associate's Degree is preferred for maximum pay. Experience in the healthcare industry is an advantage. Completion of a 10-key assessment with a score of 12,000 or above. Work Environment The work environment is a professional, corporate office setting where employees will sit in their own cubicles. The Accounts Payable team consists of 50-60 people, including 1 Director, 2 Managers, 5 Supervisors, and AP Specialists. The dress code is business professional from Monday to Thursday and business casual on Fridays. Working hours are between 8 AM and 5:30 PM, requiring flexibility for shifts within those hours. During holidays such as Memorial Day, a skeleton crew of approximately 20 people is required to work. Initially, candidates will work in-office during the contract period. Upon becoming permanent employees, they will continue in-office for an additional 90 business days before having the option for remote or hybrid work. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Altamonte Springs, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $22.00/hr.
