Job Title: Custody Operations Specialist - Treasury

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Custody Operations Specialist - Treasury to join a fast-paced financial services environment. This role is responsible for supporting the daily administration and maintenance of client accounts, with a focus on processing cash movements, trade activity, and ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize effectively while delivering high-quality client service.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM EST
Fully onsite position
Occasional additional hours may be required based on business needs
Key Responsibilities
Process client distribution requests (wires, transfers, checks, ACH), including applicable tax withholdings
Review and interpret client instructions; escalate complex items as needed
Prepare and reconcile recurring distribution instructions and ensure timely execution
Execute money market trades and support cash position settlements
Reconcile departmental cash and security positions on a daily basis
Assist with incoming and outgoing check processing
Maintain accurate account contributions and distributions
Support automated reconciliation processes and resolve discrepancies
Apply and maintain cost basis for securities
Collaborate closely with treasury team members to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (preferred)
1-2+ years of experience in the financial services industry
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client service mindset
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn new systems quickly
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated team player with a positive, collaborative attitude
High level of integrity and commitment to ethical standards
