Sr. Financial Analyst
Location: Twin Falls, IdahoOccasional travel to the Clovis, New Mexico site may be required.
Job Summary
The Sr. Financial Analyst is primarily involved with weekly and monthly performance reviews, preparation of stakeholder reports and timely and accurate analysis of accounting information. The Financial Analyst will be expected to provide analysis and present information in a professional manner.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare various weekly and monthly reports and analyze monthly business performance, identifying key drivers and trends
Perform detailed analysis of market impacts to margin and provide causal commentary
Compare and analyze actual results against plans and forecasts; monitor variances and communicate findings
Assist with the planning process, including model modification, updating, analysis, and reporting
Build and maintain financial models and perform scenario analysis using large data sets to support decision-making
Complete month-end closing tasks and support process improvement and standardization efforts
Collaborate with divisional and group accounting teams and lead special projects as assigned
Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
5-6+ years of experience in financial analysis, including hands-on financial modeling with large data sets
Strong accounting knowledge with advanced Excel capability
Experience analyzing complex datasets and translating data into actionable insights
ERP system experience preferred (SAP strongly preferred)
Willing to gain accreditation in CPA, CMA or equivalent.
