Accounts Payable Manager Coppell, TX - hybrid, 4 days onsite One of Vaco's privately-held global logistics clients is looking to onboard an A/P manager. They company has a new leadership team and is adding several key positions with this role being critical to the org chart. Looking for strong leaders that can help professionalize and take their domestic and international operations to the next level. Compensation $120-130K + bonus Day to day Lead, mentor, and develop the Accounts Payable team, including setting clear goals, providing coaching, and managing performance. Oversee daily workload distribution to ensure timely and accurate invoice processing and payment cycles. Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Partner with IT/Finance Systems to optimize AP workflows within ERP and related tools. Lead or support system upgrades, automation efforts, and policy updates. Ensure appropriate internal controls and audit readiness. Vendor & Cross-Functional Collaboration Serve as primary point of contact for vendor escalations; resolve discrepancies and ensure positive vendor relationships. Collaborate with Procurement, Operations, and Finance teams to streamline processes and ensure proper coding, approvals, and compliance. Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation.
