Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Bookkeeper to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our clients' financial clarity and compliance. Key Responsibilities Manage accounts payable and receivable with accuracy and consistency Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and maintain current financial records Process payroll and prepare related payroll tax filings Sales tax filings across jurisdictions Maintain the general ledger, including journal entries and adjustments Generate financial statements and customized management reports Review and handling of intercompany transactions Organize and maintain financial documentation to support compliance and reporting Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance efficiency Identify and correct discrepancies proactively Qualifications Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online Experience managing complex or high-volume client accounts Familiarity with cleanup work and catch-up bookkeeping Proficiency with tools like Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office Suite High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication skills and professionalism Proven ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines independently Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software Minimum of 4 years of bookkeeping experience; CPA firm experience strongly preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation aligned with experience and capability Hybrid work environment with flexibility Opportunities for professional development and career advancement Collaborative, team-oriented culture focused on excellence Why Join JSMDA?
