In this role, you will act as the operational bridge between the Firm Owner and a dedicated team of 3 Bookkeepers, 2 Clerks, and an Admin. Your mission is twofold: manage a high-level portfolio of your own, while actively mentoring and grooming junior staff into elite Account Managers. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as the first point of contact for the accounting team; troubleshoot complex GAAP hurdles and provide high-level QuickBooks guidance to groom staff into Account Managers. Full-Charge Bookkeeping & Clean-ups: Direct and manage an assigned, premium client portfolio. Execute historical clean-ups, intricate reconciliations, and full financial statement preparation. Position Requirements (Strictly Required) To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following credentials: 5 to 7 years of deep experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or Staff Accountant. Active QuickBooks Online (QBO) Certification + 5+ years of hands-on platform experience. Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) in Accounting, Finance, or a highly related business field. Proven track record of managing, leading, or mentoring junior accounting staff. Expert command of GAAP, full-cycle accounting, and financial reporting.
