LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker+Lynch) is partnering with a well-established, construction related firm looking for a Senior Accountant. This role will have great exposure to the CFO and plays a key part in supporting day-to-day accounting operations within a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong job costing/WIP experience who enjoys working in a construction environment and wants visibility with leadership while maintaining work-life balance.
Responsibilities:
Manage work-in-progress (WIP) accounting and job costing activities
Prepare and review client invoicing and support contract tracking
Assist with payroll processing and related reconciliations
Support month-end and year-end close processes
Prepare financial reports and assist with analysis
Support collections and cash application processes
Identify process improvement opportunities and drive efficiencies
Partner with accounting leadership and cross-functional teams on reporting and operations
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a project-based or service environment
Strong experience with WIP, job costing, or percentage-of-completion accounting required
