Payroll and AR/AP Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in the financial and healthcare industry, is seeking a Payroll and AR/AP Specialist to join their team. As a Payroll and AR/AP Specialist, you will be part of the Finance Department supporting payroll operations and accounting functions. The ideal candidate will demonstrate meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Payroll and AR/AP Specialist

Location: Meridian, ID

Pay Range: $23.00/hourly

What's the Job?

• Process multi-state payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations
• Maintain and audit payroll records to guarantee accuracy and regulatory compliance
• Handle employee withholdings, including taxes, benefits, garnishments, and levies
• Reconcile payroll data, identify discrepancies, and perform necessary recalculations
• Process invoices, payments, and cash receipts efficiently across multiple systems and entities

What's Needed?

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Basic understanding of accounting or payroll concepts (training provided)
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Effective communication skills to interact with employees and vendors
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
