Accounting Analyst 1

Kforce has a client that is seeking an Accounting Analyst 1 in Tampa, FL.

Key Tasks:

• Develop understanding of data sources, systems, and processes across the organization
• Analyze and manage large datasets using Excel or similar tools
• Extract, validate, and combine data from multiple sources to produce reports
• Generate ad hoc and recurring reports for internal stakeholders
• Respond to data requests and provide insights to support business decisions
• Support department processes, programs, and projects through reporting and analysis
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity through audits, reconciliations, and issue resolution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience working with financial or operational data and reporting
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience working with large datasets and multiple data sources
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• High level of attention to detail and data accuracy
• Familiarity with ERP or reporting systems preferred
• Knowledge of basic accounting or financial principles preferred
