This role will be responsible for overseeing junior-level accounting staff. Key Responsibilities Review and oversee junior accounting staff across general ledger activities, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthend close Ensure accuracy and timely resolution of GL error reports, accruals, prepaids, and fixed assets Supervise accounts payable processing, payroll activities, and nonpayroll tax withholding Support sales and use tax compliance and related filings Assist with banking and cashrelated activities, including foreign check collection Provide guidance, quality control, and handson support to ensure continuity and accuracy within the Finance department Qualifications Bachelors degree in accounting, finance or similar discipline 5+ years of general accounting experience Prior experience in a supervisory or senior accounting role Strong working knowledge of general ledger accounting, monthend close, and reconciliations Experience reviewing the work of junior or stafflevel accounting professionals Detailoriented, organized, and comfortable stepping into a fastpaced environment Ability to work 100% onsite in Stamford, CT EB-...
