Financial Bookkeeper

We are seeking a detailoriented and reliable Financial Bookkeeper to manage daily financial transactions, maintain accurate financial records, and support overall accounting operations. The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with accounting standards, assist with financial reporting, and help maintain the financial health of the organization. Key Responsibilities Record and maintain accurate financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger accounts Process invoices, payments, and expense reports Maintain organized financial records and documentation Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports Assist with payroll processing and tax preparation support Monitor cash flow and track budgets Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards Support audits and respond to financial inquiries Collaborate with management and external accountants as needed Required Qualifications Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar accounting role Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles Proficiency with accounting software QuickBooks Enterprise Proficient in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet tools High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and timemanagement skills Preferred Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field Certification such as Certified Bookkeeper (CB) or equivalent Experience with payroll systems and tax filings Knowledge of local, state, and federal financial regulations Soft Skills Integrity and confidentiality with sensitive financial data Strong communication skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Problemsolving and analytical thinking Compensation Base: $25-$27K hourly based on experience with a review at 180 days Company DescriptionHigh Velocity is the industry leader in upscale residential, condominium and commercial hurricane protection in SW Florida.
