Position Summary:

Act as a co-pilot within the factory (vision, organization, practices, initiatives/projects) on a day-to-day basis for the assigned local committee. Provide financial leadership by supplying plant and corporate management with accurate and timely financial data, along with insightful analysis and recommended actions to identify and correct inefficient operations, resulting in lower operating costs. Maintain overall financial oversight of plant assets to support accurate fixed asset inventory and timely capitalization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and supportcost improvement opportunitiesby analyzing factory performance and challenging existing assumptions

  • Own and compileaccurate, timely financial reporting, including period end close activities and daily variance analysis

  • Performdata quality reviews and inventory variance analysisto identify losses and improvement opportunities

  • Partner with Engineering to monitor capitalizations. Research capitalization discrepancies and delays. Ensure accurate and timely capitalization adhering to company policy

  • Perform fixed asset cycle counts on a routine basis. Report, track, and forecast asset retirements and impairments

Key Qualifications:

  • Preferred B.S. Degree in accounting, or other finance degree or equivalent field

  • Communication, leadership and planning skills

  • B.S. Degree in accounting, or other finance degree or equivalent field

  • Preferred 1 year of relevant experiencein cost accounting, finance, or manufacturing environments

  • Stronganalytical and problem solving skills

  • High level ofcomfort with financial systems and data tools

  • Proven ability tocommunicate complex financial informationto diverse audiences

  • Demonstratedplanning, organization, and stakeholder collaborationskills
