Daily Responsibilities:
- Manage financial operations and oversee the preparation of financial statements
- Implement internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations
- Utilize Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) to maintain accurate financial records
- Conduct financial planning and analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Maintain the general ledger and perform financial modeling
- Maximize return on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems
- Guide financial decisions by monitoring and enforcing policies and procedures
- Provide leadership in driving financial results, including cost performance and cash flow optimization
- Oversee reporting requirements such as financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
- Manage manufacturing accounting systems, including standard cost setting, variance analysis, inventory accuracy, internal controls, and ERP system integrity
- Protect assets through robust internal controls and audit processes
- Optimize cash management by minimizing bank balances and making strategic investments
- Prepare and monitor budgets, analyze variances, and initiate corrective actions
- Recruit, train, and manage financial staff; provide coaching and performance evaluations
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and strategic plans
Required Skills:
- CPA certification
- Experience in financial reporting and analysis
- Strong budget forecasting skills
- Knowledge of business administration principles
- Ability to develop and implement financial strategies
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Auditing experience
- Knowledge of payroll processes
Salary and Benefits:
Minimum Salary: $80,000
