Position: General AP clerk
Location: Bedford, OH
Duration: Contract to Hire
Expected hours: 30-40 per week onsite, Monday-Friday
Rate: $20-$22/hour based on experience (open to candidates out of school)
Hours: 7am to 3:30pm or 8am to 4:30pm, flexible with start and end time
Responsibilities
Accurate data entry of weekly bills into A/P system
Researching A/P invoice discrepancies
Prepare vendor payments on a weekly basis
Assist with auditing of store locations on a weekly basis
Maintain organized and accurate filing systems (digital and physical)
Assist accounting personnel in other duties as required
Qualifications
Associate's degree preferred or 2+ years of general accounting experience
Strong problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Strong data entry skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Outlook and Excel
Knowledge of accounting software (MS Dynamics a plus) and bookkeeping principles
Candidate must also pass a background check as a condition of employment
Pay Details: $20.00 to $21.00 per hour
