We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to support daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general administrative accounting tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial records and timely processing of transactions.
Key Responsibilities
Process accounts payable invoices and ensure timely and accurate entry into the system
Assist with accounts receivable functions, including applying payments and tracking outstanding balances
Perform data entry of financial transactions and maintain accurate records
Support bank and account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Assist with journal entries and general ledger updates
Maintain organized financial documentation and filing systems
Support month-end close activities as needed
Communicate with vendors and internal departments to resolve billing or payment issues
Assist with audits by gathering and organizing supporting documentation
Qualifications
High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
1-3 years of experience in an accounting or clerical role
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems/ERP platforms
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Pay Details: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour
