General Accounting Clerk (Temp-to-Hire)

Up to $21/hour (based on experience)

LHH is partnering with a growing organization near Parma, Ohio to hire a General Accounting Clerk on a temp-to-hire basis. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience while working alongside a collaborative and supportive finance team.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter invoices into the accounts payable system on a weekly basis
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies in a timely manner
• Prepare and process weekly vendor payments
• Assist with routine audits across multiple locations
• Maintain organized digital and physical records
• Provide administrative and accounting support to the finance team as needed

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Accounting or related field preferred, or 2+ years of general accounting experience
• Strong attention to detail with accurate data entry skills
• Excellent problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook
• Experience with accounting software; Microsoft Dynamics is a plus
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• Ability to pass a background check

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
