POSITION SUMMARY

As an Accountant, you will participate in the day-to-day running of our accounting function and ensure accurate and timely accounting reporting. You will be responsible for a portfolio of one or more of our Danish shopping centers and play a central role in preparing statutory reporting, monitoring service fees, and maintaining reliable accounting records across the organization.

You will also act as superuser for one or more key processes and support the wider group reporting and compliance efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Your perimeter of responsibilities will include:

  • Full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of shopping centers
  • Processing transactions, quarterly/yearly closings, and tax-related entries
  • Updating and maintaining the Fixed Assets Register
  • Management and budget oversight of Service Charges, including deviation analysis.
  • Responsibility for Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Participation in internal controls and assurance activities
  • Participation in quarterly closings and financial reporting

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

You preferably have a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.

You have hands-on experience in accounting and a solid understanding of local accounting regulations. Experience with tax rules and statutory reporting is a plus.

You are independent, reliable, and highly organized. You enjoy working in a team environment and are motivated by accuracy, process ownership, and continuous improvement.

In particular:

Strong knowledge of accounting standards

Experience in tax and duties (preferred)

Fluent in Danish, Swedish or Norwegian

Excellent communication skills in English

Proficient in SAP, Excel, and other finance tools

Strong attention to detail and structured work habits

Ability to work proactively and independently

Comfortable with cross-functional collaboration and service-minded mindset
