Accounting Analyst Location: Franklin Park, IL Hire Type: Direct Hire Target Pay Rate: $70,000/year (flexible depending on experience) Benefits: Medical/dental/vision plans, PTO, paid holidays, retirement plan Must-Have Skills: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2-5+ years of accounting experience Manufacturing industry experience required Strong general accounting background Experience with financial reporting and data analysis Advanced Excel and accounting system proficiency Ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment Well-rounded accounting experience across multiple functions Job Summary: Seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment through a mix of general accounting, financial analysis, and reporting responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone with a well-rounded accounting background who can manage multiple priorities and support business decision-making. Job Duties: Perform general accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership and operations teams Support budgeting and forecasting activities Assist with AP/AR functions and other accounting tasks as needed Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to provide financial insights Support audits, compliance efforts, and internal controls Assist with process improvements within accounting and reporting functions Manage multiple accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required 2-5+ years of accounting experience required Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting Experience with financial analysis and reporting functions Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal training Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally Qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
