How you'll make an impact

We are seeking a highly skilled and motived individual to join the Gallahger Bassett Core Standard Billing team. The Financial Analyst will report to the Billing Director and play a key role in supporting billing operions reled to standard billing arrangements and automed processes. The responsibilities outlined below reflect this roles emphasis on analytical support, crossfunctional coordinion, and continuous improvement within a growing and evolving billing environment.The Gallagher Bassett Billing team is responsible for delivering accure, reliable, and efficient billing solutions th support organizional performance and a strong client experience.

The team is structured into three primary areasCore Standard, Core NonStandard, and Ancillary & Supportwhich together provide comprehensive coverage across routine billing activities, complex and customized billing scenarios, and specialized functions th enable and sustain billing operions.

Success in this role is grounded in close collaborion with key partners, including other Finance teams, Client Services, and IT. Through strong crossfunctional partnerships, thoughtful use of technology, and streamlined processes, the Gallagher Bassett Billing team drives operional excellence, scalability, and continuous improvement. This integred approach supports sustainable growth and ensures consistent, highquality outcomes th deliver lasting value to both clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a subjectmter expert for standard and automed billing processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with organizional standards.
  • Serve as a main point of contact for Gallagher Center of Excellence process analysts th support standard and automed billing processes.
  • Perform reconciliions and analysis between automed billing results and source da, investiging discrepancies and escaling complex issues appropriely.
  • Support issue resolution reled to standard and automed billing by researching root causes, documenting findings, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Participe in initiives to migre contracts from manual or semimanual billing to automed billing.
  • Review billing requirements to determine automion eligibility, identifying da gaps, system dependencies, or process barriers.
  • Assist with billing configurion and testing for new or transitioned automed billing arrangements, validing calculions, schedules, and outputs prior to production.
  • Maintain and upde billing documention and SOPs, particularly for standardized and automed processes, ensuring clarity and repeability.
  • Collabore with Finance, Client Services, and IT to support ongoing billing enhancements, client changes, and process improvements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to increase automion, reduce manual touchpoints, and improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support monthly and other recurring billing cycles, meeting required deadlines while maintaining high quality and tention to detail.

About You

Required:

  • Requires bachelor's degree and 3 years reled experience.
  • Strong PC and Microsoft applicion skills.
  • Excel expertise required (pivots, V-lookups, macros).

Preferred:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administrion, or a reled field required
  • 1-3 years reled experience required
  • Proficient in Excel with a practical understanding of formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, da validion, reconciliions, and da analysis
  • Experience in the Insurance Industry and/or with Third Party Service Administrors a plus
  • Experience working with billing systems, financial reporting tools, or ERP plforms, with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes a plus
  • Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills, with the ability to evalue billing issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical, scalable solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communicion skills, including the ability to document processes, explain complex issues, and contribute to clear SOPs and reporting.
  • High tention to detail and commitment to accuracy, balanced with the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic, fastpaced environment.
  • Demonstred ownership mindset and accountability, taking initiive to see work through from analysis to resolution.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement, with openness to change, learning, and process optimizion.
