This role is ideal for a handson accounting professional who enjoys ownership, collaboration, and strategic involvement in a servicedriven environment. As the Accounting Manager, youll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, guiding the accounting team, and partnering with executive leadership to support the clubs longterm goals. Why This Role Is a Standout Highly visible leadership role within a respected organization Opportunity to partner closely with executive management and the Board Blend of handson accounting and strategic financial oversight Stable environment with a strong focus on service, quality, and professionalism What Youll Be Responsible For Oversee all accounting operations , including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Lead the budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with senior leadership Monitor cash flow and ensure strong internal controls and financial safeguards Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and audit requirements Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, including performance management Partner with the General Manager and Board of Directors on financial planning and strategy Coordinate annual audits and serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and tax advisors Evaluate and improve financial systems, reporting tools, and accounting processes What Were Looking For Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred) 5+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience Background in hospitality, private clubs, or similar serviceoriented environments strongly preferred Strong command of GAAP and financial reporting standards Proven experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis Advanced proficiency in accounting systems and Excel Confident communicator with leadership presence and attention to detail Who Thrives in This Role Youre a proactive accounting leader who enjoys balancing daytoday operations with higherlevel financial strategy.
