Bookkeeper(QuickBooks Online Expert)

Location: On-Site - Clearwater, Florida Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper with strong QuickBooks Online (QBO) expertise to support our growing tax and accounting firm . This role includes managing full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients while also assisting with front desk and office management responsibilities. The ideal candidate understands how bookkeeping directly impacts tax preparation and financial reporting and is comfortable working in a professional tax firm environment during busy seasons. Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping Responsibilities Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients using QuickBooks Online Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Record and categorize transactions accurately for tax-ready financials Prepare monthly financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) Maintain clean, organized books to support tax preparation and compliance Assist with gathering documentation for tax preparation Identify discrepancies and resolve issues independently Support month-end and year-end close processes Required Qualifications Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online (required) 2+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a tax or accounting firm Understanding of how bookkeeping impacts tax preparation Familiarity with basic tax concepts (1099s, payroll tax, sales tax, year-end reporting) Experience handling administrative or office management duties Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines, especially during tax season High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Professional communication skills Preferred Qualifications Experience working in a tax firm environment QuickBooks Online Certification Experience supporting tax preparation processes Familiarity with cloud-based accounting and document management systems Ideal Candidate Traits Comfortable working in a deadline-driven tax environment Self-motivated and accountable Professional and client-focused Organized and adaptable, especially during busy season Proactive problem-solver Company DescriptionBusiness Advisory and Accounting Partners powered by Harness is a national tax advisory and business advisory firm helping growth-minded business owners build stronger financial futures through proactive planning, strategic tax guidance, and year-round advisory support.
