Back To Results Accounting Manager Job Description Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller - Savannah (onsite) Financial Reporting: Generate accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Analyze financial data to provide insights into key performance indicators and trends. Cost Control: Implement and maintain effective cost control measures to optimize operational efficiency. Analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality. Financial Planning and Strategy: Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals. Assess the financial feasibility of expansion projects, renovations, or other capital investments. Cash Management: Oversee cash flow management, including monitoring receivables, payables, and working capital. Optimize cash position and recommend investment strategies. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Conduct regular training sessions to keep staff updated on industry trends and best practices. Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification (CPA, CMA) is a plus. In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and financial management. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite. Base salary up to 90k plus 3 weeks vacation and Excellent Benefits.
