Accounts Payable Clerk

LK Jordan is currently looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy construction company on the East side of San Antonio. In this role, youll help keep invoices moving by following up with managers for approvals and making sure vendors get paid on time.

What youll be doing:

• 
  Follow up with management on pending invoices in TimberScan to keep approvals moving.
  
• 
  Keep an eye on invoice queues and make sure everything gets approved on time.
  
• 
  Help process a high volume of invoices each week.
  
• 
  Work with the AP team to get approved invoices paid and avoid vendor delays.
  
• 
  Review vendor statements and make sure invoices are entered correctly.
  
• 
  Look into any discrepancies or outstanding invoices from prior months.
  
• 
  Keep records organized and jump in to help with other AP tasks as needed.
  

What were looking for:

• 
  6 months to 1 year of accounts payable experience.
  
• 
  Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  
• 
  Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
  
• 
  Able to communicate and follow up with different levels of management.
  
• 
  Experience with accounting software (TimberScan is a plus).
  
• 
  Valid Texas drivers license.
  
• 
  Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
