Job Title: Senior Staff Accountant
Location: Florence, KY; On Site
Department: Accounting
Reports To: Controller
Schedule: Monday through Friday; 8AM to 5PM; Full Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a thoughtful and detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant who enjoys variety in their work and takes pride in building strong, reliable financial processes. This role offers the opportunity to contribute across multiple areas of accounting while also participating in special projects that support the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and account reconciliations
- Process and manage banking transactions (domestic and international)
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes
- Review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable activities
- Perform daily cash reconciliations and monitor cash balances
- Maintain internal controls over cash disbursements and receipts
- Support external audits and provide required documentation
- Participate in special projects and process improvements across the accounting function
- Contribute to various accounting initiatives, including system enhancements and workflow efficiencies
- Assist in identifying opportunities to leverage tools and technology (including AI) to improve productivity
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with bank reconciliations and cash management
- Familiarity with wires, ACH, and EFT transactions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Experience with Sage CRE 300 software preferred
