Staff Accountant / Tax Associate (Faith-Based Environment) Company: Faith-Driven Community Organization Location: White Oak (Cincinnati) Ohio 45247 Job Type: Full-Time Job Description A faith-driven community organization is seeking a Staff Accountant / Tax Associate to support financial operations for affiliated organizations, including a small CPA firm serving individuals, businesses, and nonprofit ministries. This role is ideal for an early-career professional (1-5 years experience) who desires to use their skills in a setting that values biblical principles, integrity, stewardship, and service to others through excellence in financial work. Responsibilities Prepare federal and state tax returns, including: Form 990 (nonprofit organizations) Forms 1040, 1041 Forms 1065, 1120, and 1120S Perform bookkeeping and accounting functions for a range of clients Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes Maintain accurate financial records and supporting workpapers Support tax compliance and planning efforts Build strong, service-oriented relationships with team members and clients Qualifications 1-5 years of experience in public accounting or tax preparation Experience with multi-entity tax returns (990, 1040, 1041, 1065, 1120, 1120S) Working knowledge of: QuickBooks Online (QBO) QuickBooks Desktop (QBDT) Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Preferred Qualifications CPA or actively pursuing CPA license Experience working with nonprofit or ministry organizations Payroll experience is a plus Strong interpersonal and communication skills Our Environment & Mission We operate within a Christ-centered, values-driven environment that emphasizes: Honoring God through excellence in our work Stewardship of financial resources entrusted to us Serving individuals, families, businesses, and ministries with integrity Encouraging personal and professional growth We welcome candidates who are excited about contributing to a workplace where faith and work are meaningfully integrated .
