Financial Accountant

Requirements: Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Accounting Minimum of 5+ years of solid work experience the manager needs someone who can hit the ground running with minimal training Experience with SAP Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) not just data entry or posting; must understand the principles Experience with month-end close and month-end reporting Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, complex calculations, and the ability to use functions to analyze data and identify discrepancies Responsibilities: The person in this role will analyze financial data and projects, evaluate the organization's financial condition based on historical performance and current earnings, review proposals, and prepare feasibility and profitability analyses. Additional Notes: No candidates from banking or services backgrounds Must have accounting experience with hands-on experience in making book entries, running reports, and identifying and questioning discrepancies, with hands-on experience in making book entries, running reports, and identifying and questioning discrepancies Preferred candidates will have experience in medical device or manufacturing environments
