Who You Are:

As the Senior Accountant, you will ensure that all financial reporting and analysis are generated for the respective projects within the accounting and LPM department, particularly the Home business functions. In this role, you'll assist with accounts payable, general ledger and job cost related activities to support the management operations.

The Difference You Will Make:

  • Prepare accurate and timely accrual basis financial statements for the Home business unit in accordance with close checklists.

  • Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting packages.

  • Cash management reporting and cash flow processing.

  • Prepare financial analysis of key accounts as requested.

  • Maintain continuous improvement mindset working to consistently improve efficiency and effectiveness of the close process.

  • Maintain appropriate communication with Supervisor through close process to identify and address potential delays.

  • Assist with other information requests across the organization as needed.

  • Ensure accurate consolidation of balance sheets to Entrata operating entities.

  • Assist other departments and managers with allocations of monthly shared services provided by LPM.

  • Prepare bank reconciliations for entities for which financial reporting is required.

  • Prepare monthly financial analysis of key accounts as requested.

  • Assist with asset accounting.

  • Assist with other financial services as requested.

  • Maintain appropriate communication with Company accounting managers.

  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field with two to three years of experience preferred.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • The ability to present written communication in a clear and informative manner and have strong communication skills.
