What You'll Be Doing
You'll play a pivotal role in supporting our capital expenditure process, helping to track and account for fixed assets with accuracy and care. Your insights will directly inform strategic decisions that touch every corner of our organization.
Fixed Asset & Project Accounting
Record acquisitions, dispositions, and transfers of fixed assets
Track and compile project costs, ensuring assets are placed into service upon project completion
Store-Level Financial Reporting
Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal reports
Analyze and verify store-level data trends for use in reporting to key stakeholders (investors, banks, regulatory agencies)
Invoice & Expense Review
Review and validate building expenses for accuracy and coding
Research discrepancies and work cross-functionally to resolve any issues
Team Support & Collaboration
Contribute to ad hoc requests, special projects, and cross-departmental deliverables
Assist with annual building budget reviews, analyzing year-over-year changes

Qualifications
Minimum Experience
1+ years of hands-on accounting experience
Minimum Education
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Accounting (MAcc) or MBA
Public accounting experience (Big 4 is a plus)
CPA certification (or progress toward it)
