Summary:
- Leads credit and analytic strategies within the consumer credit card, small business credit card, debit card and personal lending (unsecured personal loans, Direct secured marine/ RV) businesses.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leads credit and analytic strategies within the consumer credit card, small business credit card, debit card and personal lending (unsecured personal loans, Direct secured marine/ RV) businesses which include data extraction, manipulation, analysis, reporting and presentation
- Leads credit portfolio optimization analyses which includes understanding and leveraging credit models to optimize risk and return. Evaluates portfolio performance and recommend changes to product leaders or marketing strategy to optimize program performance.
- Balances sound risk management practices with portfolio growth and profitability. Maintains current knowledge of risk-related credit card changes that may impact assigned area(s) of responsibility. Adheres to bank policies and procedures and complies with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborates closely with multiple levels of senior management and various business segments (Marketing, Risk Management, Product, Legal, Regulatory Compliance) to make recommendations and influence business decisions. Establishes or works with management to develop effective controls and processes to ensure data and information is accurately monitored and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going basis
- Works closely with Marketing to ensure effectiveness of credit card and loan portfolio marketing programs to customers and to improve portfolio metrics.
- Coaches, develops and leads analysts in business analysis, data extraction projects and reporting. Leads/ coaches; counsels; manages the function; will be responsible for hiring, terminations, salary adjustments and/or disciplinary actions; establishes/communicates group strategy.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance, marketing or related field
- 12+ years in financial services
- Hands on experience in credit and analytic strategies for financial products
- SQL, SAS, Tableau hands on experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Leading/ Managing teams and strong leadership skills with ability to think independently
- MIS/ Masters background or MBA preferred
- Strong familiarity with Data & Analytics and Credit Models with focus on Consumer Credit card, Small business credit card, Debit card and Unsecured lending P&Ls
- Familiarity with Verisk/ Argus, Fiserv, and major credit bureaus
- Familiarity with pricing models for card and unsecured lending and relationship between risk and return
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to articulate problem solving methodology used to research and create solutions
- Comfortable presenting to senior management
- Ability to multi-task, remain objective and goal-focused under pressure
- Analytical thought process and ability to determine paths of action and make recommendations to remediate issues
- Strong skills to be effective in a matrix-style management and environment
- Organized, methodical and high degree of attention to detail
- Ability to understand challenges from many points of view including from the perspective of a customer

Compensation Range:
125,000.00 - 255,000.00 USD Annual
The compensation range represents the low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
