This role is instrumental to the financial reporting function, preparing SEC filings, external reports, and internal analysis for senior management. The Senior Financial Analyst will also provide accounting expertise to the organization through assessment of the facts and circumstances and performing research of the relevant accounting literature.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this position are as follows:
Assist with all aspects of SEC/external reporting, including the preparation and review of the Form 10-K, Form 10-Q, Proxy, Earnings Releases, Investor Relations materials, and selected Form 8-Ks
Support the research and resolution of significant and / or non-routine transactions including but not limited to revenue recognition, leasing, impairments, acquisitions and divestitures
Work directly with our external partners to ensure that the Form 10-K and Form 10-Q are appropriately tagged for compliance with XBRL requirements
Assist in the preparation and review of Section 16 filings
Prepare selected journal entries
Monitor US GAAP, SEC and PCAOB developments and evaluate the impacts of new accounting and reporting rules on disclosure requirements
Prepare governmental reports
Develop cross functional relationships with other departments, specifically Tax, Legal, Finance, Compliance, Internal Audit, and Human Resources
Develop working relationships with the external auditors
Other reports, analyses, and projects as requested

Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP
Extremely detail oriented

Demonstrated experience in SEC reporting
Workiva experience preferred
Big Four experience preferred
Education:
Bachelor's Degree Required - Type: Accounting
Certification/Licensure Required for Job: CPA (preferred)
Minimum Experience Preferred (Number of years and type):
Minimum 4 years' experience, with public accounting firm experience preferred.
