A Controller, also known as a Financial Controller, is a senior executive who manages the accounting activities within a company. They oversee all financial functions including accounting, budget, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. They are responsible for the preparation of financial reports, ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards, and design and monitor internal control systems.
