Our key client in the Oil and Gas industry is growing like crazy and adding to their team. We have a Junior Project Controller role on the team. Pay Rate: $37.68/hour on W2 Work Type: Hybrid - Charleston, WV 25314 Duration: 24-month contract (with possible extension and conversion) Job Overview: Project Controls - Provides project management support services in the areas of project initiation, cost management, change management, progress measurement, reporting and project close out. Project Controls collaborates with project managers on the development and review of project plan, estimate, schedule, risk and contractual requirements. Develops and implements project controls and monitoring procedures to ensure the achievement of project schedule and cost objectives. Collects, analyzes and reports on project data and costs from various stakeholders (e.g., engineering, procurement, construction and accounting). Key Responsibilities: Maintain staffing worksheet and PC organizational structure. Understand and track overall project scope and milestones. Review and map estimate to control WBS. Manage project time-phasing for control budgets and forecasts. Generate requisitions for project materials and services. Compile cost reports and provide variance analysis. Update cost management systems with trends, progress, and time-phased data. Review project invoices and contractor costs. Contribute to estimates at completion and track earned value metrics. Identify and analyze cost/performance trends. Attend HRIM and QRA meetings. Assist with preparation of cost reports, scorecards, and project scans. Support Intermediate and Senior Project Controllers. Participate in administrative close-out activities. Qualifications: University degree or graduation from a technical college program. 0 to 5 years of related experience. Minimum 1 year of relevant experience. Undergraduate Degree: Required. Supervision, Performance and Experience: Typically operates with clearly defined assignments. Work is normally subject to review in detail. Works under close supervision and usually under the guidance of an experienced Project Controller Would be part of a project controls team on large scale projects and support intermediate and senior pc, may have more of a pc administration role. Experience with executing low- to moderate-risk capital projects.
