Insight Global is seeking a Pharmacy Billing Specialist to join one of our large PBM clients. This individual will be responsible for providing high quality customer service and accounts receivable management. This individual will be trained on all of the duties and responsibilities of the role. After trining, the individual will be taking inbound call and outbound calls to MDO, patients, PBMs, sending requests to MDO for prior authorization, etc. They will also be tasked with processing test claims in the system and working on rejections.
Primary job responsibilities include the following:
-Post all credit and debit adjustments to patient accounts
-Follow-up on outstanding patient account balances
-Perform collections duties on past due patient accounts to obtain payment or setup payment arrangements
-Handle all correspondence related to insurance and patient accounts, contact insurance carriers, patients and other parties as needed to get maximum payment on accounts
-Research and resolve accounts as directed by management, making appropriate decisions on accounts to be worked to maximize reimbursement

Skills and Requirements
-0-2 years of recent pharmacy billing experience
-Must be fluent in MS Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
-Familiarity working in a fast paced, high volume clinical, managed care, and/or behavioral setting
-Pharmacy technician experience or customer service in a pharmacy setting is desirable null
