Northeastern Rural Health Clinics (NRHC) is a mission-driven FQHC dedicated to expanding access to high-quality, compassionate care across Lassen County. We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and collaborative Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations and join our executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead financial strategy, planning, and oversight of accounting, billing, central supply, and credentialing.
• Manage the annual operating and capital budgets; present financial reports to the CEO, Board, and Finance Committee.
• Oversee revenue cycle functions, including billing, collections, and payer reimbursement analysis.
• Ensure compliance with HRSA, Medicare/Medi-Cal, grantor requirements, and support the annual audit.
• Supervise Medical Records and Registration managers; foster transparency, inclusion, and team development.
• Oversee MIP accounting software and support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with the CEO and Board on financial sustainability and capital project planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required; CPA or Masters preferred.
• 57+ years of progressive financial leadership experience (FQHC or healthcare strongly preferred).
• Deep knowledge of PPS reimbursement, HRSA guidelines, and nonprofit financial compliance.
• Proficiency with MIP accounting software and Excel.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
