Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting, financial reporting, and lender reporting packages. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, with a focus on month-end close processes, financial statement preparation, and process streamlining.

  • Manage the month-end close process to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Manage accounts receivable, revenue entries, and related reconciliations during the monthly close process.
  • Record daily revenue from ticketing/sponsorship/B2B system & reconcile at month end
  • Prepare internal transfer requests between bank accounts and wires (Internal form)
  • Prepare monthly/quarterly sales tax/promptax
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
  • Assist with reviewing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate recognition of payables and accruals at month-end.
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
  • Develop and maintain lender reporting packages.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and reporting.
  • Streamline accounting processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support external audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with Big 4 accounting firms is a plus.
  • CPA certification is highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
  • Experience in financial reporting and lender reporting packages.
  • Strong understanding of month-end close processes and financial statement preparation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Coachable and trainable, with a willingness to learn and grow.
  • Experience with PE-backed companies is a plus.
  • Ability to streamline processes and implement improvements.

Compensation

The anticipated base salary range for this position is listed below. In addition to a competitive base salary, you will be eligible to receive discretionary bonus incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Anticipated base salary range: $80,000 - $110,000 / year

Actual base salary within the anticipated range will be determined by several components including, but not limited to, the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and market factors.
