Staff Accountant - Manufacturing Location: Plain City, OH 43064 Salary Range: $67,000 - $75,000 per year Schedule: Full-Time | Onsite About the Opportunity: A leading manufacturer in the injection molding industry is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its finance team in Plain City, Ohio. This full-time, onsite role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for financial accuracy, reporting, and continuous improvement. In this role, you will oversee key accounting functions such as payroll, accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation. Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements and reporting packages Perform bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and timeliness Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and GAAP standards Support audits and provide necessary documentation Maintain and update accounting records and documentation in ERP system Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and cross-department collaboration Qualifications: Bachelor's degree Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment Strong working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and financial reporting Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Experience with cost accounting and ERP systems is a plus Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience ($67,000-$75,000) $1,000 sign-on bonus 100% Employee-Owned Company (ESOP participation) Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Health Savings Account (HSA) 401(k) with company contribution Paid time off and holidays Company-paid life insurance and disability coverage Gym membership reimbursement Free snack and drink room Relaxed and supportive work environment
