What You’ll Do:
Serve as the main point of contact for national customers with temperature-controlled freight needs
Prospect and win new business through cold calling, referrals, and strategic outreach
Prepare, negotiate, and close freight quotes for temp-sensitive LTL lanes
Manage the full customer lifecycle — from first contact to delivery and ongoing service
Work closely with operations to ensure accurate quoting, carrier coordination, and smooth execution
Stay informed on market trends, with a focus on the cold chain segment
Travel 10–15% to maintain and grow key client relationships
What You’ll Bring:
3+ years in 3PL or asset-based freight sales/operations
Experience with temperature-controlled LTL is strongly preferred
A book of business is a big plus
Proven success managing a portfolio of $2MM+
Confidence using CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, OneNote)
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
