Accounting Supervisor - Supplier Incentives and Cost Accounting

Ideal candidate will be based in the Columbus area with the ability to work a hybrid schedule, coming into the Dublin office at least 1 day a week.

What General Accounting contributes to Cardinal Health

General Accounting is responsible for maintaining the financial books and records and preparing financial statements in accordance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month-end close of Buy Margin accounting group
• First-level review of Buy Margin balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage team of two employees
• Responsible for answering questions and assisting in resolving issues
• Maintain SOP's for Buy Margin area
• Ensure compliance with Buy Margin SOX requirements
• Other duties as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• 3+ years accounting experience in related field, preferred
• Prior supervisory experience
• CPA preferred

• Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations, or business support staff
• Administers and executes policies and procedures
• Ensures employees operate within guidelines
• Decisions have a direct impact on work unit operations and customers
• Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers and peer groups at various management levels
• Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution

Anticipated salary range: $79,700-$113,800
