Seastrom Manufacturing - Controller

This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the company’s financial systems and ensuring GAAP-compliant reporting by performing full-cycle accounting, analyzing variances to drive strategic improvements, and preparing dashboards and external financial statements for leadership and the board. You will lead and mentor a dedicated accounting team, present financial insights at executive and board meetings, and oversee cost accounting, project estimates, and service-based revenue tracking. Additionally, this role will oversee cash flow planning and vendor relationship, drive ERP reporting requirements, and manage payroll by supporting internal HR operations and ensuring compliance with employment regulations.

Qualifications include bachelors degree in accounting or finance, and at least 5 years of direct senior-level accounting or finance experience. Proven experience in managing an accounting team, with a deep understanding of cost accounting and an exceptional ability to translate complex financial data into strategic recommendations is required. Strong communication skills and advanced Excel proficiency are essential. Experience in the manufacturing and/or distributing industry highly preferred.
